Prof. Prasad Joshi is currently Pro Vice Chancellor of Deccan College Post-graduate and Research Institute, Pune. He is also General Editor (I/C) of ‘Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Sanskrit on Historical Principles’, at Deccan College PGRI, Pune. He has authored several books and has also published number of research papers on Ancient Indian Grammar, Linguistics and Lexicography. He is recipient of prestigious ‘Badarayana Puraskar’, Presidents’ Award for exceptional contribution in the field of preserving and propagating Ancient Indian Scriptures.
