This uniquely designed short term coIndian Ideas on State and Government, explores the rich and diverse tradition of political thinking in India. 

From the ideas embedded in the ancient texts to its modern reflections, this course takes a tour of the variety of ideas associated with politcs and how it informed and continues to inform our ideas event today. Through this course, we will examine key ideas about the role of the state, the purpose of government, and the relationship between the individual and the collective, both in historical and contemporary contexts.
